Export Google Slides comments to PDF

Turn feedback into a review document you can share outside the Slides comment panel. Comments2PDF places slide previews and native comment threads in one browser-printable view.

Choose a presentation

Keep the feedback in context

A list of comments alone may not explain which chart, headline or slide a reviewer meant. Comments2PDF pairs each mapped thread with the relevant slide preview and preserves slide order. Feedback that cannot be matched is collected separately at the end for you to check against the source.

This produces a snapshot for review or handoff. It is not an editable presentation, and the saved PDF will not update when someone adds a reply or changes a comment’s status in Google Slides.

Decide what the recipient needs

  • Replies: include them to show the discussion after the original comment, or hide them for a shorter view of the top-level requests.
  • Authors and dates: show these when attribution and timing matter. Hide either field if the recipient only needs the feedback.
  • Review status: All includes open and resolved threads. Open only focuses on outstanding feedback; Resolved only provides a record of closed discussions. Status reflects the data loaded, not a new assessment by Comments2PDF.
  • Layout: choose comments beside each slide for shorter threads or below the slide for longer text.

Save the review as a PDF

  1. Click Choose a presentation, connect your Google account and select the Slides file you want to review.
  2. Wait for comments and slide images to load. Check the review, including any unmatched threads, then set your filters and include options.
  3. Click Print / Save PDF. In the browser print dialog, select Save as PDF or your system’s PDF destination.
  4. Check the paper size, page breaks and any browser headers or footers. Save the file, open it and inspect the output before sharing.

The PDF is saved through your browser. There is no server-side PDF conversion or direct download button. Cancelling the print dialog leaves the review available so you can adjust it and try again.

Understand what is retained

Comments2PDF reads the selected file directly from Google into temporary browser memory. It does not upload the presentation to its own server or keep a review history. Reloading or disconnecting clears the current review, while a PDF you already saved remains on your device.

The exported review can contain private feedback and author names. Choose recipients with the same care as sharing the original presentation. If you need the latest conversation, select the presentation again and make a new PDF.
